HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

the vicarage

The vicarage attached to St. Peter's church is across Church Lane from the main church entrance.

HOUSES 33

Vicarage: A photo from 1890 of the side of the vicarage - the main entrance is round to the right of the building. The Vicar at that date was the Rev. Charles Dunlop, but Kelly's Directory of 1890 lists him as living at Red Oaks. The occupant of the vicarage was given as the Rev. Lewis Edward Younghusband.

HOUSES 42

Vicarage 1: A photo of the vicarage front from Church Lane, taken in November 2016.

Vicarage 2: Also taken in November 2016, this time showing the back garden from School Lane.
