HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

petrol station

There has been a petrol station at the corner of Golden Square for many years. Before it was taken over by Shell, the station/garage was owned by Braziers, the garage part of which relocated to premises behind the steam mill in Lower Station Road.

There were two petrol stations/garages in the High Street for many years. Betchleys was on the site of the present second-hand car dealers next to Aniseed.
