mock bridge
Mock Bridge is the Adur crossing to the north of Henfield, at Shermanbury. There have been several bridges over the river Adur here. An 1825 travel guide to Sussex refers to it as "Moak" bridge; the word "moke" means donkey, so perhaps that is the origin of the bridge's name.
