Ladybirds Group, Blackgate Lane 1-5: Annual yarn bombing at the time of the annual Festival of Gardens & Arts - this time by the Ladybird Group. Photos from early 2019.
Spiked Star of Bethlehem: Ornithogalum pyrenaicum, also called 'Prussian asparagus', 'wild asparagus', 'Bath asparagus', 'Pyrenees star of Bethlehem', or 'spiked star of Bethlehem', is a plant whose young flower shoots may be eaten as a vegetable, similar to asparagus. This photo, taken in July 2019 by a Henfield resident, shows a rare specimen in woods in Henfield - the plant is normally only found in areas in Wiltshire.
Banners, Rus & Magnolia Houses: The banners in this photo are part of a protest by the householders against large, wrap-around signs outside the Setyres building across the High Street. They say that the size of the signage is contrary to the regulations of the conservation area, and has been erected prior to formal planning permission. Mid-July 2019.
Noticeboard: Rus House: This noticeboard on the railings of Rus House sets out the complaint against the Setyres signage. Mid-July 2019.
Summer Fair, show tent interior: A shot of the interior of the show tent just before judging was about to take place. 13th July 2019. There were fewer entries in some of the categories than in previous years.
