Lavender Cottage
This ancient cottage stands next to Providence Cottage (originally Holmgarth) on the Henfield Common North road. In 1905 it was used as the workroom of the Violet Nurseries, started by a Miss Allen and a Miss Brown. The ladies lived next door in Holmgarth.
