HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

country views 25 - notes

Bluebells 1-3: This bluebell wood is always a treat in early spring. It can be reached from Furners Lane, by a footpath that runs south from Holders. Wellies or stout boots recommended, as this area is full of water, even on dry days, and can get very squelchy underfoot. An alternative route is to walk up the lane past Swains Farm shop and take a stile across the fields on your right. Walk well to the right of the electricity pylon and join a path through the woods to the bluebells. Photos from mid-April 2019.
