Wade Family watercolours
The 34 watercolour paintings below were done by children of the Wade family who lived at Croft House in the years before and after 1900. Many of them have been photographed twice: once to capture the whole page, complete with writing; and again with just the painting as the image. For convenience, these have been labelled as (name) 1 for the whole page and (name) 2 for the central painting. Click on a thumbnail to bring up the image in full screen mode in a new window. Clicking on the full screen image will increase the painting to very large size, showing the detail; clicking a second time will return the image to full screen.
The paintings were photographed at 240 DPI, in raw, with a Canon 70D camera and a Canon 18mm-135mm lens, and processed as JPG files with Adobe Lightroom.
