HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

the pools

The Pools, like Tipnoak in Nep Town Road, is a house that looks old but is not, being made from old materials. The house is Edwardian and stands to the east of the A2037 Henfield - Small Dole Road, just before the Henfield Business Park. Canadian soldiers were billeted there during the 2nd World War.

HOUSES 24

The Pools 1: This photo shows the house in 1907.

The Pools 2: A similar view to 1. but taken nearly 70 years later - in 1975.
