HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

flocktons - stonepit house

Flocktons was previously called Stonepit House, but it's original name was Coombe Croft, and an older, smaller house may have stood on the site. The name Flocktons was given to the house by a previous owner who bred  pedigree dogs. The house itself dates from the 1870s, has castle-like features, and stands a third of the way along Stonepit Lane, which runs off West End Lane.
