HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

stereo (3d) images

This page contains stereoscopic (3D) images of Henfield - taken from a pack of 30 "Holmes" cards I created with a digital stereo camera and a graphics program on my computer. The images below show left and right views of the same scene. If you have a stereo viewer along the lines of the "Owl" viewer created by Brian May (Queen guitarist and scientist), you can put the viewer to the screen and view the images as one 3D photo. Alternatively, you can cross your eyes while looking at the stereo pair - and then, slowly, uncross them. Once you get the knack of it, the "middle" image will suddenly stand out in three dimensions. Some people get it - others don't!
