HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

shermanbury place

Shermanbury Grange is on the west side of the main Henfield-Shermanbury Road - Shermanbury Place is on the east side and can be seen from a footpath running north from Chestham Park, past Shiprods to Shermanbury church and the Bull at Mockbridge. The site covered 741 acres when sold in 1917. The house has been rebuilt several times, the present one in the 19th century.
