rosemount

Rosemount is a Grade II listed, 18th century cottage standing at the junction of Windmill Lane and Mill End. The listing describes it as:

Two storeys. Three windows. Ground floor painted brick, above tile-hung.
Tiled roof. Casement windows. Trellised wooden porch.


HOUSES 15

In 1901 the occupant of Rosemount was a 58-year old widow called Sarah Piper, whose occupation was a needlewoman, with her daughter and niece.
