HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

rose cottage

HOUSES 31

This little cottage standing next to Croft Villas in Church Street is said to be the oldest house in Henfied. It has been much altered internally over the years - so much so it has no Listed Building status as far as I'm aware.

In 1901, the occupants were Henry and Jane Trower, both in their 70s and "living on own means".
