HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

pond house - KILN COTTAGE

A walk down Barrow Hill and then a right turn into Dagbrook Lane brings you to the much-altered Kiln Cottage - now called Pond House. There was a brickyard - closed in 1878 - behind the original cottage. The pond is fed by a stream running down Spring Hill.
