Henfield Then And Now

oreham cottage

This timber-framed Tudor cottage is on the left of the lane marked Oreham Common. During WW1 it was known as the Goat Farm on account of the goats tethered on the common. These were owned by the occupants of the house, artist Amy Vernon Lewis and her friend.
