Neptown Mission
The Neptown Mission stands at the bottom of Nep Town Road, on the left as you approach the turning to Broomfield Road. After it ceased to be a mission, it became a carpenter's shop and then a curtain maker's studio. It was a furniture workshop until sometime in 2016 but is currently empty again.
CHURCHES 1
Neptown Mission 1: A photo from 2005.
Neptown Mission 2: This old photo shows the Neptown Mission in its original garb, from a photograph taken in 1910.
CHURCHES 2
Neptown Mission: Another black & white photo of the mission from 1910.
SHOPS 13
Evergreen Woodwork Co. 1-3: I spotted the door of the mission slightly ajar on a walk down Nep Town Road in late October 2015, and knocked to see if anyone was there. Charlie Yates, the thenowner of the Evergreen Woodwork Co., kindly let me into the old mission to photograph the interior. It was good to see it functioning again, but - alas - it was empty again in 2016.
CHURCHES 6
Neptown Mission: This photo from late October 2017 shows the back of the mission building from the footpath that runs from the end of Southview Terrace to the top of Windmill Lane. The white house behind it is West View.
