Neaves Cottage - also known as Neves Cottage - stands with Ameys Cottage at the end of Stonepit Lane, near Blundens and Lashmars Hall. The Grade II listing reads:
C17 or earlier timber-framed cottage with plaster infilling on a brick base. Thatched
roof. Casement windows. Two storeys. Three windows.

Neaves Cottage: This photo is from a quarter plate glass negative taken by the Bishop family about 1914 or thereabouts. The ivy shown in the 1909 photograph has been cut right back. John Terry Bishop, a builder who lived in Highdene (now My Dentist) in the High Street was the owner of the quarter plate camera. It is possible that he was working on the cottage at the time the photograph was taken.
