HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

Myrtle villa & ashington villa

Turn into Church Street from the High Street, and Ashington Villa and Myrtle Villa are the semi-detached houses just on the left-hand side, past the old Bell and facing Annetta Cottages on the right. In 1947 Hardie and Susan Williamson moved into Myrtle Villa where they pursued their artistic activities, including designing and printing fabrics.
