Henfield Then And Now

 Miscellany 15 - notes

Wellingtonia, Mill Drive: This large tree at the top of Mill Drive is one of the last remnants of the estate and gardens of William Borrer and the long-gone Barrowhill House. Taken in February 2017

Henfield roofs: A photograph taken in January 2017, showing the view over the village roofs from the top of Squire Way, with the chimney and roof of Henfield Place prominent at the back.

Cottage ruins: If you walk along the path that leads into Henfield woods from Henfield Common North, you'll see this ruined cottage through the trees on your left. From its location, it appears to be on the edge of the land belonging to Dykes.
