HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

Mill House

The Mill House was the house of the miller who owned the windmill on Henfield Common - not to be confused with Old Mill House, which was the home of the Nep Town miller. The site of the mill is on the eastern edge of the property, beyond the present mill house garden and can be seen from the Lydds. A footpath leads from the Brighton road up past the Mill House - parallel with Mill Drive - and on to the Lydds and Barrow Hill.
