HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

lloyds pharmacy

Lloyds Pharmacy sits in between Henfield Furnishings and the George in the south-east section of the High Street, and was Astons Chemist's shop before that. In 1901 it was already a chemist's - and the village post office. The chemist and postmaster was 31-year old Edward Merritt, with his family.
