CUTLER'S CROFT
The 17th-century houses known as Cutler's Croft - nos. 1 - 3, to be precise - stand on the corner of Neptown Road and Blackgate Lane. The Grade II listing describes No. 1 as:
A C17 or earlier timber-framed building with painted brick infilling.
Casement or horizontally sliding sash windows No 3 early C19. Painted brick. Glazing
bars intact. Tiled roof to whole. One storey and attic. Five windows. Two hipped
dormers.
