Cruttenden's corner
Many years ago the bakery on the corner of the High Street and Church Street was a business called Cruttenden's Bakery. Then Dunford's and Barnard's bakery businesses stood on the site now occupied by All Things Covered - but the corner is known to long-term residents of the village as Cruttenden's Corner.
