HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

COUNTRY VIEWS 12 - NOTES

London Road from Fawn Rise path: The footpath slipping out of Fawn Rise runs along a field edge to join up with the main London Road. This view from April 2016 shows the tall trees on the western edge of the road, with the gate on the extreme right of the picture..

Hawthorn near London Road:
A view slightly further to the north than in the view above, showing the new hawthorn blossom - a familiar sight in the lanes and paths around Henfield.

Hawthorn near Fawn Rise: More hawthorn - this time in the opposite direction with Fawn Rise in the background.

Path to Red Oaks: The path that runs along the north side of the Tanyard field joins Church Lane to the end of Cagefoot Lane, where this path cuts through to the Red Oaks gardens.
