coggers

Coggers is in Dagbrook Lane on Broadmere Common, and sits across the lane from Pond House. In 1851 the occupant was 77-year old widower, and pauper, Thomas Standen and his two unmarried daughters. 24-year old agricultural labourer Thomas Peacock and his family also occupied the house in 1851. In 1901 the house was occupied by 37-year old Peter Davey, a farm carter.
