HENFIELD THEN AND NOW

chanctonbury ring

Henfield lies on a greensand ridge overlooking the South Downs, and many of the downs landmarks are visible from several viewpoints on the south-west side of the village. These landmarks include Devil's Dyke, Truleigh Hill and, most prominent of all, Chanctonbury Ring.
