catsfold
Catsfold Farm is in that part of West End Lane which turns south and runs parallel with the river. The lane runs south and Catsfold is on the eastern side, before you come to Godson, Leeches and Harwoods. A nicer way to approach it is from the footpath that leads off Hollands Lane, past Canon's and joins up with West End Lane just below Catsfold. The very brief Grade II listing reads:
C17. Two storeys. Five windows. Red brick. Half hipped Horsham slab roof, partly replaced with tiles. Casement windows.
37-year old John Muzzall farmed 112 acres at Catsfold in 1841, and was there in 1851, with his wife Harriet and their 8 children. Sir Algernon Lee Guinness (3rd baronet) and Lady Winifred Guinness lived at Catsfold shortly after their marriage in 1928.

Catsfold 1: A photograph of the house from 1915.
Catsfold 2: A photograph of Catsfold probably from the 1920s as the tree is not much larger than in the 1915 photo, but the car is later than 1915.

Catsfold: A sneaky peek at the façade of the house from the entrance in West End Lane, at the height of the summer of 2015.
