BArrow hill COTTAGES

There are four cottages at the bottom of Barrow Hill, the road to Upper Beeding and Shoreham. They are on the left-hand side facing Broadmere Common. These were originally basketmakers' cottages where baskets were woven from reeds grown on the common.
